Yes! You can customize what you call your users and all of the text in the myTurn platform using our Language options by going to:
Settings > Organization > Language
How to customize wording
- At the top of the page, make sure the language you want to edit is selected.
- Click [Turn On] under Translation Mode.
- When Translation Mode is active, browse your site and look for highlighted phrases.
- Click the globe icon next to a phrase to edit it
- To search and update all phrases you can't reach in Translation Mode (e.g. phrases that only appear when you are logged out) at once, select [Translate All Phrases]
You can “translate” English to English, or change ant of our other base translations to customize the wording for your site. Currently you will need to edit both singular and plural forms, and update any sentences or phrases where these terms appear. For example, you can change:
- Customer → Member
- Customers → Members
Important notes
Do not change the meaning of phrases (e.g., Item Types). This helps avoid confusion and ensures consistency across organizations.
