Redeeming Gift Certificates

When purchasing a gift certificate, a copy is emailed to the recipient or to an email address the purchaser specifies, which could be their own if they want to print rather than email the certificate. The email will have who the certificate is from, the code that can be manually entered, and a link to redeem the certificate:

If the recipient clicks through and does not already have an account, they will need to create one:

After creating their account, they will be able to redeem the certificate via My Account > Redeem Gift Certificate:

They can enter or copy and paste the code from the email. Or, once they have created their account, they can also go back to their Gift Certificate online and click the "Redeem" button:

Once they redeem the certificate, the amount of the certificate will be added as a credit on their account which they can use to purchase a membership/subscription or pay other fees.
